Located at 378 Santana Row Apt 1130, San Jose, CA 95128, Momosan Santana Row operates as a japanese serving San Jose in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In San Jose, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

San Jose is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Jose is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The taste is good, though the food is generally on the salty. It’s Japanese fusion, but the overall vibe feels a bit low-energy.

I wanted to like Momosan Santana Row more than I did. The location is great and the restaurant looks really nice from the outside, especially being right in Santana Row. The vibe is stylish and it feels like it should be a fun place for ramen, drinks, and small plates. Unfortunately, the actual experience was a little disappointing. The staff was not rude, but the service felt pretty disconnected. It took a while for someone to come take our order, and after that the pacing was kind of off. Some food came out much later than expected, and the order didn’t feel very organized. It also seemed like a few menu items were unavailable, which made it harder to enjoy the meal the way we planned. The ramen was okay, but for this area, I expected more. Santana Row and the South Bay have a lot of strong Asian and Japanese food options, so the flavor really needs to stand out. For me, the ramen felt a bit flat and not as satisfying as I hoped. Some of the appetizers were fine, but overall nothing really made me feel like I needed to rush back. I do think the space has potential. The restaurant is cute, the location is convenient, and it could be a fun spot if the service and food consistenc

Momosan Santana Row is hands down one of the most hospitable and welcoming places we visit. The team is consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely warm, you feel it the moment you walk in. It’s actually our puppy, Yogi’s favorite spot, he absolutely feels the love here (especially when there’s chicken soup and chicken sides involved!). The staff always go out of their way to make us feel at home, and that level of care is rare. Beyond the hospitality, the food is excellent and consistently well prepared. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. Amazing staff, great energy, and an experience that keeps us coming back.

Stopped at this location in Santana Row in San Jose. I just parked in the parking garage which is convenient. We went on a Saturday evening and it wasnt busy, we were immediately seated. Our surver was attentive and fast. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 of them came after our while our final dish was served. Not really a big deal but. The Salmon rolls were great along with the Gyoksu Ramen Braised Beef. Everything tasted fantastic and I'm looking forward to visiting again. The atmosphere was good and the location was clean.

I visit this restaurant regularly, and it continues to impress. The highlight is without question the beef ramen, which is among the best I’ve ever had. The broth has a deep, rich flavor developed through 14–16 hours of slow cooking, and the beef is exceptionally tender with outstanding umami. They also offer a special spice you can add to the ramen, which enhances the dish with an additional layer of umami. The hot oil fish carpaccio and spicy wontons are also exceptional—both dishes are incredibly flavorful and expertly prepared, with a depth of taste that truly stands out. Their bar features an excellent selection of drinks, and the service is consistently friendly and attentive. Overall, this restaurant delivers an outstanding dining experience and is well worth visiting.
